- Hi! Thanks for taking time to look at my site. My name is Kristen and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I am dedicated to sharing the Bible's message of hope and peace. I am married and have two great kids, Gabriel-10 and Abby Lynne-3. I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do I like to try my hand at being creative. It is a form of relaxation and therapy for me. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing and cardmaking, although I don't sew very much anymore. Here I'd like to share some of my accomplishments when I have a chance. I am open to comments, ideas and creative help. :)Thanks for spending some time with me.

ReplyDeleteI love your flowers too. The ones you made with that fine craft thread came out really delicate and intricate looking. They're awesome! BTW, your blog looks cool. I love the font you've used for your profile and the comments. How did you do that???? My blogger doesn't have but maybe five boring fonts. Must be the template?
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful. I'm currently in the crochet flower faze too....and getting a little obsessed crocheting lace.....it just doesn't take much to get me obsessed lol. I also love your make over and font. Hugs lin
ReplyDeleteHi Kristen, I love your "flowers" too. My favorite is the loopy looking one, 4th from the bottom. Is it hard to do? I crochet also, but haven't done so in years. I also would love to know how you use a different font than what Blogger has. Hugs, dj
ReplyDeleteDJ, the flowers aren't really hard at all. The only thing is that I just kind of make them as I go so they all come out different and I don't write down what I did so when I'm done it is hard to figure out exactly what I did in order to make another one. I like making them, they are fun and quick to make. I use a really tiny hook which is tough on the ole eyes! haha!
ReplyDeleteDJ and Dorcas, I got the font by going to my dashboard,then design, template designer, advanced. There you can choose different fonts. The one I used is "sunshiney".
