Hi! Thanks for taking time to look at my site. My name is Kristen and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I am dedicated to sharing the Bible's message of hope and peace. I am married and have two great kids, Gabriel-10 and Abby Lynne-3. I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do I like to try my hand at being creative. It is a form of relaxation and therapy for me. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing and cardmaking, although I don't sew very much anymore. Here I'd like to share some of my accomplishments when I have a chance. I am open to comments, ideas and creative help. :)Thanks for spending some time with me.

Purrrrr-fect!

Hi! I bet you thought I had dissapeared, never to be heard from again! I don't blame you, I'd have thought the same thing :) Anyway, I've been really, really down lately and creatively BLOCKED. Since I couldn't wrap my mind around a finished card, I have mostly been coloring digis and playing around with some crochet flowers. Today I finally turned out a card! I am particularly proud of my coloring on this one, I think this is probably my best so far. I found a tutorial for this card at http://www.lapashe.com/. It is super easy. My digi is by Mo's Digital Pencil, the papers are assorted and the silver bead accents are ones I made with my hot glue gun and silver alcohol ink. I hope you like!!

    Stinkin cute, Kristen!! I think your coloring came out really good. I'm glad you could have a bit of crafting time.
    Feel free to show us the other stuff you're workin on too, the flowers etc, its all cool. :-)

    Ohhhh, this is so cute. I've had about a two week period like you described. I've only done about one card every week or so, and I usually do a few more than that. Now I've got to get busy as I have seven sympathy cards and a couple of get well cards to do; plus I'm horribly behind on my anniversary cards. Hopefully I'll get of this rut soon. (I'm going backwards looking at your blog.) I really love your work. Hugs, dj
