Hi everyone! Boy did it cool down today! Yesterday was nice and warm and sunshiney. Today is quite cooler and overcast. Today I have a card that I made for a dear friend. The digi was a freebie, I must apologise to the artist-I couldn't find it in my computer again to tell you who drew it. I used assorted papers and the flowers and "pearls" are handmade.

- Hi! Thanks for taking time to look at my site. My name is Kristen and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I am dedicated to sharing the Bible's message of hope and peace. I am married and have two great kids, Gabriel-10 and Abby Lynne-3. I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do I like to try my hand at being creative. It is a form of relaxation and therapy for me. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing and cardmaking, although I don't sew very much anymore. Here I'd like to share some of my accomplishments when I have a chance. I am open to comments, ideas and creative help. :)Thanks for spending some time with me.
Very cute Kristen! Love your flower! The artist may be Meljen. Looks like her work! Nice springy colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey! I think you may be right. I don't know why I can't find it again :P I have tried to organize my images by artist and or the blog site they were offered on, but.... I'm not always successfull at organization. :)

Very nice card, Kristen! The colors and papers are so bright and so spring-like!
ReplyDeleteI always "rename" the files when I save it to my computer - I keep the filename the same - only add the designers name with a "_" ...
Hugs,
Uli
I was going to say it looks like Meljens work, you start to recognise the artists when you see a lot of cards lol. I put all my freebies in files under the artist's names...I'd never remember with some of the freebies otherwise. It's a great card, very pretty papers, how on earth do you make your own pearls, I'd love to give that a try. Hugs lin
